The project must cost more than $300, and you need to provide documentation of the project start and end dates, cost (invoice or invoices from suppliers and/or installers) and a before and after photo of the project.
And if you act now, we will include an In-Home Energy Audit by a professional as one of the qualifying energy-saving projects. Most in-home Energy Audits cost no more than $75 and are well worth it helping you become more energy efficient and lowering your utility bills. HomeESP will reimburse up to $100 cash to help cover the cost of your In-Home Energy Audit.
You can claim up to $300 in Energy Saving Project Rebates, one project per year of Membership, up to three projects. HomeESP helps members cover the cost of leaving their homes and replacing spoiled food resulting from a blackout.
Most power outages are unplanned and it is virtually impossible to prevent a blackout or brownout; just ask your local utility. Whether it is a result of a blizzard, tornado, hurricane, ice storm or peak summer demand that crashes the power grid, power failures happen. Hundreds of thousands of people loose power for periods lasting from half a day to several days. The costs of a blackout can mount quickly. HomeESP will pay $50 per 24-hour period, for up to three days per calendar year (a total of $150), for any loss of utility-supplied electricity to your home. The benefit begins 12 hours after the initial loss of power. You can use this money for any purpose, such as expenses you incur during a loss of power, including food, hotel, and transportation or shopping.
